And there it was. It was year 2016 and I just finished school with no idea what I want to do. I started at my first company as a kind of boy for everything. But it always draw me to more visual kind of coding, so I started to gravitate towards Web development and javascript. So during evenings and weekends I took the time and started to learn on my own. And the weeks went by.

After 6 months of self learning I started to feel confident enough to try my luck and apply for my first web development job. And after few interviews I got it. It was a maintenance of older angular.js app with some new features developed in between. As a first job experience this was brilliant. It taught me all the basics of work in the team of front-end developers and basic tools (git, jira …). After a year at this job I felt like it is time to move on and try to get a job with react.js as a core technology as I saw the future heading that direction.

This is the point when I started to work with react.js full-time and I loved it. I worked with react in two different companies and at this point I felt confident with my Javascript as well. During this time I created also two mobile applications, one with React-native on both iOS and Android (https://apps.apple.com/bs/app/sudoku-control/id1510382068) and then I started to look at iOS development with SwiftUI and created my first application for guitar players (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/anychord/id1553682370#?platform=iphone).

And this is when my story begins. During my time with iOS development I was always curious in SpriteKit and game development. And when I finished my application I started to dive into these waters. And it got me. I fell in love. But I wanted to see options for a game development in Javascript and possibly pack it with electron and ship. And this is what my story will be about. I want to use this blog as a journal of a developer whose dream is to create simple games.
